Sunder charm is mandatory just to break that immunity and Infinity will lower that resistance a nice ammount and if you also have Griffon's with a perf facet you can lower it down to 50% more or less. TBH in my previous comment, I made a mistake, the lvl12 conviction aura on infinity doesn't break immunities by itself, but a maxed out pally conviction does. This limitation only affects enemies with sundered immunities, so infinity will lower the other enemies resistance like before. Well, with sunder charms, devs have added a limitation to conviction aura when used together, infinity will only lower the resistances with lvl 12 conviction, by 17 or 18%(I don't remember exactly). if you are a Lightning fury Javazon you can use it to farm The Pit and be able to kill those Lightning immunes, but if you go to Cows is better to remove it and use those slots with MF, Life or what ever you need. Is better to use them when you want to farm an area where you can find that specific inmmunity, but is harmful for you if you keep it where you don't need It since you will need to use SCs or gear to compensate the resistance you loose while using it, not to mention that you are already using 3 inventory slots for nothing. If you also have some sort of lower resistance stuff, facets, etc you are allowed, then, to lower their resistances and thus deal more damage to them. No, Infinity gives conviction aura that can break immunities and also lower the resistances(fire, cold and lightning only), however, Sunder charms only breaks a specific immunity and set the immune monster resistance to 95% so you can damage it.
